McAllen, Texas — September 01, 2026 — Red Square Dental & Orthodontics is proud to announce a new partnership with Texas Tech that will expand access to essential oral healthcare services throughout the Rio Grande Valley while providing valuable clinical training opportunities for future dental professionals.

The collaboration will launch the Red Square–Texas Tech Outreach Clinic Days, an innovative community outreach initiative that combines patient care, dental education, and community service through a structured clinical rotation program hosted at Red Square Dental & Orthodontics.

The program is designed to address two critical needs facing communities across South Texas: increasing access to basic dental care for underserved populations and providing meaningful hands-on clinical experiences for dental students preparing to enter the profession.

Under the program, Texas Tech dental students will complete supervised clinical rotations at Red Square Dental & Orthodontics, working alongside experienced dental professionals while participating in patient evaluations, treatment planning, preventive care, restorative procedures, oral health education, and community outreach activities.

Through a structured pre-screening and treatment model, eligible patients may receive examinations, cleanings, preventive services, simple fillings, oral health education, and other basic dental treatments under the direct supervision of licensed dentists.

The outreach model is inspired by successful community dental initiatives that focus on prevention, education, and access to care. Patients participating in the program will first undergo a comprehensive screening process to determine clinical needs, treatment eligibility, and scheduling considerations while ensuring patient safety remains the highest priority.

In addition to providing direct patient care, the partnership will establish a framework for measuring patient outcomes, evaluating community impact, and exploring future opportunities to expand outreach services and educational experiences throughout South Texas.

The first student rotations are expected to begin following final program coordination between Red Square Dental & Orthodontics and Texas Tech leadership.
